I read quite a few travel-related books when I started down this trail. Here's reviews for some of my favorites:

The Woman Road Warrior, 2nd Edition: The Expert's Guide to Domestic and International Business Travel (Woman Road Warrior: The Expert's Guide to Domestic & International)
Kathleen Ameche describes life on the road from a woman's point of view. Along with great tips and checklists, she balances a gusto for life with common-sense safety on the road. I highly recommend this book for anyone getting started in travel. |

| The Way of the Road Warrior: Lessons in Business and Life from the Road Most Traveled This is the first 'travelling life' book I read when I started consulting. Robert Jolles gives a true picture of life on the road. What I appreciate is that he shows the good AND the bad of life on the road. Business travel and its constant change can be addictive. It can also exact a price on the home life. Jolles explores both. |
